Professional Guidance for Parents

Supporting a young dancer involves difficult decisions around auditions and training opportunities.

Emma offers professional guidance for parents who would value an experienced perspective on their dancer’s development, whether that means discussing an upcoming audition, considering the next stage of training or simply talking through the options available.

Guidance can also include pointe shoe queries, helping parents understand when a young dancer is ready to progress onto pointe, offering practical advice around pointe shoes; including insightful recommendations alongside professional pointe shoe fitting and tailoring the shoes to suit your dancers’ individual foot needs.

Parent mentoring consultations can take place directly with parents via phone or in person, and alongside the student where appropriate.

Once your session is arranged, payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.

  • “I have been taking virtual private coaching with Emma for 3 years now, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My technique has improved greatly, and her explanations are very clear. She notices small technique issues other instructors have missed, while also building strong musicality and artistry.”

Online Class Safety

Please ensure you have a suitable, clear space to train and only take part in exercises that are appropriate for you.
Dancers under 18 must have parent or guardian consent to participate.
